Kara Johnson-Green

Kara’s practice is concentrated in the field of reproductive technology law.  Kara has a wealth of experience representing intended parents, egg donors, sperm donors, and gestational surrogates.   She is able to see you through your reproductive journey from start to finish and guide you through the legal process.  Kara practices with compassion, understanding, and skill, understanding the unique situation of each individual client.

Kara graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with honors receiving her bachelor degree in Human Development and Family Studies and received her Juris Doctorate from Mitchell Hamline School of Law.  She is admitted to practice law in Illinois and was admitted to the U.S. Federal District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.  Kara is a member of the American Bar Association Assisted Reproductive Technologies Committee. She is also a member of the Illinois State Bar Association Family Law section and Young Lawyers Division, the Chicago Bar Association, she is a professional member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), Path2Parenthood, as well as RESOLVE.
